Over landschappen, ik vond deze oude kaart
jaren geleden op een rommelmarkt.
Ik vind de kleuren mooi en
het tafereel is zo vredig en sereen ...

About landscapes, I found this vintage card
years ago at a flea market.
I love the colors and
the scene is so peaceful and serene ...




Deze kaart, daterende van 1910, toont een schilderij
van Ernest William Haslehust (1866-1949).
Hij was een Engelse landschapschilder en boekillustrator
gespecialiseerd in aquarellen.
Ik deed wat zoekwerk op het internet, vond verschillende
werken van 1920, maar deze van 1910 kon ik niet vinden ...

This postcard dating from 1910 shows a painting
by Ernest William Haslehust (1866-1949).
He was an English landscape painter and book illustrator
specialising in watercolours.
I did some research on the internet, found several
works from 1920, but I couln't find this one from 1910 ...

Ik weet het ... alweer zoetigheid !
Ik kocht deze macarons in verschillende smaken,
chocola, jasmijn, kokos, kaneel, peperkoek,
violet, cassis, ... zo heerlijk,
ik wou ze allemaal proeven, mijn man stelde voor
om van iedere smaak eentje te nemen :-)

I know ... again sweet stuff !
I bought these macarons in a variety of flavors,
chocolate, jasmine, coconut, cinnamon, gingerbread,
violet, cassis, ... delicious sweeties,
I wanted to taste all of them, my husband suggested
to take one of each flavor :-)
