Ik hou van bloemen, texturen, handgeschreven & typemachine
lettertypes, zachte en dromerige foto's ...
De laatste tijd merk ik dat ik donkere foto's ook mooi vind,
dus besloot ik om een donkere en stemmige collage te maken
van enkele 'Annabelle' bloemen uit onze tuin
... en koffie.

Bewerking gebaseerd op Kim's preset 'serendipitous'
Een patroon met kleuren uit de foto linksboven
De lettertypes zijn 'Sweetly Broken' en 'Trixie Light'

Lately I've noticed I like darker images too,
so I decided to create a dark and moody collage
of some 'Annabelle' flowers from our garden
... and coffee.

De laatste tijd is het kouder
met veel regen en onweersbuien
en een beetje zon tussendoor ...
Een paar weken terug hadden we 35°C ...
ik heb toen kersen in witte chocolade gemaakt,
ik heb de kersen in de gesmolten chocolade gedipt,
in de koelkast gezet tot de chocolade hard is ...
een heerlijke en verfrissende traktatie ... :-)

Lately we have cooler weather
a lot of rain and thunderstorms
and a little sunshine in between ...
A few weeks ago we had 95°F ...
I made white chocolate dipped cherries,
I dipped the cherries into the melted chocolate,
placed them in the fridge until the chocolate was set ...
a delicious and refreshing treat ... :-)

Ik nam de lakens en heb ze in de living
op de grond gelegd voor een groot raam ...
Ontbijt ... croissant met aarbeienconfituur ...

but the light was not so good.

Be Still 52 - Your Be Still Vision



My perfect 'be still' moments :

- my morning coffee ... on warm summer days on our terrace
with Moesj ... listening to the birds ...

- reading, taking photos, creating ...

- together with my husband ... a walk, a drink,
having a talk ... or not, just enjoying !

A lovely memory :
Years ago on a trip to the Cotswolds of the UK my husband and I
stayed at a cosy Bed & Breakfast in the far off countryside,
at night we looked out of a small window ... pitch darkness ...
and ... 'nothing' ... the sound of silence ...
never heard before ... and we just stood there listening ...

Mijn perfecte 'stilte' momenten :

- koffie 's morgens ... op warme zomerdagen op ons terras
met Moesj ... naar de vogels luisteren ...

- lezen, foto's maken, creëren ...

- samen met mijn man ... een wandeling, iets drinken,
praten ...of niet, gewoon genieten !

Een mooie herinnering :
Jaren terug op vakantie in de Cotswolds in Engeland verbleven
mijn man en ik in een gezellige Bed & Breakfast ver weg
op het platteland, 's nachts keken we uit een raampje ...
pikdonker ... en ... 'niets' ... het geluid van de stilte
nooit eerder gehoord ... en we stonden daar te luisteren ...
