om te lezen en na te denken,

om te dagdromen,
om ideeën op te schrijven in mijn notitieboek ...

enjoying the beauty of nature,
enjoying the quiet,
daydreaming,
jotting down ideas in my notebook ...

I definitely need alone time to fuel my writing. Without time alone the voice in my head gets lost.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI discovered that I have been spending too much time alone as of late. The dread of returning back to work teaching made me go into hermit mode. I think there is a need to balance, which I need to find. I love the quotes...so perfect.

Well, first let me say that I love your journal photos. Great composition and exposure. Then let me tell you ... YES ... I need a bit of solitude every day to keep my sanity. But the flip side is, too much is not good, either. There needs to be a balance. So easy to say, so hard to do.

ondertussen werken mijn hersenen
op een wat lager niveau, en dat
geeft veel nieuwe inzichten.

I must admit that for me too the solitude doesn't have a negative meaning, I see it as a moment of reflection, of dialogue with ourselves, of serenity.
