Oud fruitkistje

Op zolder vonden we nog een oud fruitkistje. Ik heb er appels ingelegd en Oostindische kers.
Dit jaar hebben we twee soorten in onze tuin : in een roomwitte tint 'Whirlybird cream' en met dieprood hart 'Strawberry & cream'.
Ik vind de namen zo mooi.
Een idee voor een hapje vooraf : vul kleine glaasjes met zalm- of tonijnsalade, leg er een bloem bovenop. Fleurig en lekker !

In the attic we found an old fruit box. I've put apples in it and nasturtium. This year we have two sorts in our garden : in a
creamy white tint 'Whirlybird cream' and with deep red
heart 'Strawberry & cream'.
I think the names are so beautiful.
An idea for a tasty appetizer : fill small glasses with salmon or
tuna fish salad, put a flower on top. Blooming and delicious !
